FORGED IN FIRE:
ABOUT THE WARRIOR WAY
Becoming God-Strong From the Inside Out
The WARRIOR Way is a way of living rooted in one transforming reality: God loves us unconditionally.
It is a journey of learning to live from the inside out—walking by faith, becoming secure in who we are in God, growing through failure, being rooted in Scripture, living in obedience, and discovering a righteousness that comes through faith rather than human performance.
At the heart of The WARRIOR Way is a simple understanding of love:

Love is actively, patiently waiting with kindness.
Before we ever learned how to wait for ourselves, God was waiting for us.
Before we understood our worth, He knew it.
Before we recognized His presence, He was present.
Through success and failure, joy and grief, certainty and confusion, God has never stopped loving, pursuing, teaching, healing, and patiently waiting for us with kindness.
The WARRIOR Way exists to help people learn to live from that love.
Meet Winston C. S. Taylor
Founder of The WARRIOR Way
My name is Winston C. S. Taylor, and The WARRIOR Way was not born simply from something I studied.
It was born from something I lived.
I am a minister, author, father, teacher, and creator of WARRIOR: Becoming God Strong From the Inside Out. For years, much of my life revolved around ministry, preaching, achievement, responsibility, and serving others.
Then my life changed dramatically.
I experienced seasons in which things I had associated with my identity and future were stripped away. I faced failure, loss, broken relationships, uncertainty, disappointment, and questions about who I was when the roles and accomplishments I had depended upon could no longer define me.
And somewhere in that journey, God began teaching me something deeper.
He had been there all along.
I began looking back over my life differently.
I could see His patience.
I could see His kindness.
I could see moments when I didn’t recognize what He was doing, yet He was still present.
I began discovering that healing was not about pretending painful chapters had never happened. It was about learning to see my whole story through the reality of God’s love.
That changed everything.
I Discovered a Different Kind of Strength

The world often teaches us that strength means having control, appearing invulnerable, winning, achieving, or never falling.
The WARRIOR Way teaches something different.
Being a warrior is not about never falling.
It is about knowing who holds you when you fall.
It is learning that failure does not have the authority to determine your identity.
It is discovering that shame does not get the final word.
It is becoming secure enough in God’s love that you can confront truth, accept responsibility, heal, grow, and keep moving forward without destroying yourself in the process.
I began understanding strength as the ability to continue living from God’s patience and kindness—even when life hurts.
That is what it means to become God-Strong from the inside out.

The Six Pillars of The WARRIOR Way

The WARRIOR Way is built around six foundational pillars:

W — Walk in Faith
Learning to trust God and move forward even when you cannot see the entire road ahead.

A — Armored in Christ
Learning to stand protected by truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, Scripture, and prayer.

R — Rooted in Scripture
Allowing God’s Word to reshape how we understand God, ourselves, our experiences, and the world around us.

R — Resilient in Failure
Learning that falling is not the end of the story. We can confront failure honestly, learn, heal, rise, and continue growing.

In

O — Obedience to God

R— Righteousness of Christ
Living from what God has done for us rather than trying to manufacture our worth through performance.
These principles are designed to become more than lessons.

They become a way of life.
Why Children Matter
The WARRIOR Way is not only about helping adults recover from what happened to them.
We also want to reach children while their understanding of themselves is still being formed.
Through the Colors of a WARRIOR series, children encounter Scripture, positive affirmations, representation, creativity, and repeated reminders of one foundational truth:
God loves me unconditionally.
Imagine what could happen if children grew up knowing that before shame taught them otherwise.
Imagine children learning that mistakes can be confronted without believing they are mistakes.
Imagine them learning resilience before failure comes.
Imagine them becoming rooted in Scripture, secure in God’s love, compassionate toward others, and confident in who God created them to be.
That is part of the vision.
More than Books
The books are only the beginning.
The vision of The WARRIOR Way reaches toward families, education, health, discipleship, community, and environments intentionally designed to help human beings flourish.
We envision places where children learn differently.
Where families heal together.
Where physical health and spiritual formation belong together.
Where movement, nutrition, rest, relationships, nature, Scripture, worship, education, and service become part of one integrated way of living.
A place where people aren’t rushed through transformation.
A place where people are given room to grow.
A place characterized by the same posture we have discovered in God:
actively, patiently waiting with kindness.
This Is The WARRIOR Way

I don’t believe my story is ultimately about everything I lost.
I believe it is about discovering the God who was present through all of it.
And I am still learning.
Still growing.
Still walking.
Still becoming.
The WARRIOR Way isn’t an invitation to pretend that life doesn’t hurt.
It is an invitation to discover that pain does not have to define you.
Failure does not have to imprison you.
Your past does not have to condemn you.
And your achievements do not have to establish your worth.
You can become strong without becoming hard.
You can confront truth without living in shame.
You can grow without hating the person you used to be.
You can patiently wait for yourself while God continues His work in you.
And as you experience His patience and kindness, you can begin extending that same patience and kindness to others.
That is love.
That is strength.
That is healing.
That is The WARRIOR Way.
