WHY THIS MATTERS
History should become something children can see, touch, remember, and live.
More than a coloring contest.
Through Be Obedient to God, children encounter people, stories, choices, and lessons that connect Black history with biblical character. The competition creates motivation. The learning creates impact.
LCW: BH is a project of The WARRIOR Way, helping children become God-Strong from the inside out.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Parents need clear answers
What is LCW: BH? LCW: BH stands for Learn. Color. Win. Black History. It is a six-month WARRIOR Way learning and coloring campaign built around the Be Obedient to God coloring book.
How much does it cost to enter? The campaign price is $13 per participating child. Final inclusions, shipping, and fulfillment terms should be stated in the Official Rules and checkout before payment.
When is the last day to enter? Registration closes December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
How are entries judged? Entries are judged using a published 100-point rubric emphasizing obedience-to-God theme, creativity, effort and completion, age-adjusted craftsmanship, Black-history connection, and overall impact. Entries should be anonymized for judging.
How will younger children be judged fairly? Craftsmanship is evaluated relative to developmental age. A younger child's work is not expected to demonstrate the same fine-motor control as an older child's work.
What are the prizes? The initial prize structure is $500 for first place, $250 for second place, and $100 for third place. Additional prizes may be unlocked depending on participation.
What happens if the minimum participation number is not reached? The current campaign plan uses a 150-paid-entry activation threshold. If the published minimum is not reached by the stated activation date, the competition should be cancelled and qualifying campaign payments refunded to the original payment method according to the Official Rules.
Can schools and churches participate? Yes. LCW: BH is designed to support family entries as well as organized participation by churches, Christian schools, homeschool groups, youth ministries, and community organizations.
Can my child's artwork or photo be featured? Only according to the parent/guardian consent choices and the final Official Rules. Publicity consent should be separated clearly from basic competition eligibility wherever legally appropriate.
